What are Compliance vs Non-Compliance tests?


COMPLIANCE TESTING

MedCan Lab serves as a contracted laboratory for the Hawaii Department of Health and United States Department of Agriculture. All Compliance testing will meet mandated HI-State and USDA requirements for hemp and medical cannabis products prior to harvest, production and consumer sales. Compliance Test packages will come with necessary Batch, Lot, or Bio-Track Information coupled with a product Compliance Certificate of Analysis (CoA).

NON-COMPLIANCE TESTING

MedCan Lab’s services extend to all Industry Colleagues and Private Patients. Non-Compliance testing serve to provide data for Quality Control of Production Tier-Testing, Product Profiles and Research and Development. If desired customizable consultation packages can be developed and coupled with Data Trending. Non-compliance tests will come with Product Non-Compliance Certificate of Analysis (CoA).




Who can submit samples for testing?


MedCan Lab accepts samples from USDA licensed hemp cultivators and product producers, HI-State licensed medical cannabis 329-cardholders, and dispensaries (including cultivators, extractors, and product producers) as allowed by law. How long does it take?


Standard turnaround time for test results is 5 Business days from the time of receipt. Expedited turnaround is available, but is subject to additional charges. -Please refer to Testing for specific test duration-




What is your payment policy?


Payment Terms - Net 14 days upon receipt of invoice. We accept checks drawn on U.S. banks, Visa and MasterCard credit cards, or cash. A 1.5% per month surcharge will be assessed on accounts not paid within 30 days.




What does MedCan Lab test?


MedCan Lab tests State- and USDA-licensed hemp, HI-State-licensed medical cannabis, and 329 card holders.
MedCan Lab offers both Compliance and Non-Compliance tests dependent on a client’s needs.




How do I submit samples for testing?


Courier services are available for Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Molokai, and Hawaii. All USDA Hemp Producers may utilize USPS for shipping of samples.

If requested MedCan Lab may provide sterile sample containers that will be shipped to you directly.

Sample Submission and Pickup will occur upon request between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday excluding Holidays.
